ABOUT ME
I'm Chami Saks, head stylist and founder of Serenity Wig Salon. I'm a Pittsburgh based mother, wife, business owner, and cosmetologist. As a licensed cosmetologist, I have created a space where anyone can feel confident that their beauty needs will be met with expertise and professionalism.
Through my years in the field, I have taken a special interest in wigs and hair pieces. This passion of mine has enabled me to become a specialist, with prowess in the wig industry.
As wig wearer myself, I spent years trying to figure out the most natural and comfortable way to cover my head. My personal connection to wearing wigs has been an integral part of my journey in becoming as adept as I am with wigs today. I aim for every customer who comes through our doors to feel as comfortable as I am in my hairpiece. At Serenity Wig Salon we want everyone to have fun and feel confident with their new hair.
MEET THE TEAM
LIV
Liv began her passion for hair at a young age while spending time with her grandfather in his salon that he created after emigrating from Italy. Her passion for wigs began after seeing her best friend with alopecia struggling with hair pieces from a very young age. Always having an artistic flare, Liv eventually studied at Pratt Institute where she exposed her self to a myriad of art forms. Liv is now an expert in altering wigs in all ways to give them their most realistic look.
KELSEY
When Kelsey turned 13 she began to experience hair-loss due to trichotillomania. Throughout the years, Kelsey started customizing her own wigs in order to feel more comfortable in her hair pieces. Eventually she went on to go to cosmetology school and became a licensed cosmetologist.
From there, Kelsey moved to New York City and worked and trained amongst master colorists. While working, she became a certified Goldwell Master Colorist. From there, she began to work with some of masters in the New York wig industry. Kelsey is also an extensions expert and is a certified teacher in hair extensions.
